Many people think that a hose clamp is a "simple metal ring" and only needs to meet the material standards. In fact, this is not the case - the fastening performance and durability of a hose clamp depend not only on the material but also on the production process. A high-quality hose clamp needs to go through multiple precision processing procedures, and each procedure has strict standards. However, inferior hose clamps often omit key procedures, leading to unsmooth locking, easy slipping, poor vibration resistance and greatly shortened service life. The first core process: steel strip cutting and forming, which is the basic process of hose clamps. High-quality hose clamps adopt precision CNC cutting equipment, with a cutting accuracy error of no more than 0.1mm, ensuring uniform width and length of the steel strip, avoiding burrs, and preventing scratches on the pipe wall during installation; the forming link adopts precise mold pressing to ensure the roundness of the hose clamp, fit the pipeline arc, and avoid loose locking caused by substandard forming. The second core process: surface treatment process, which directly affects the corrosion resistance and appearance of the hose clamp. The mainstream surface treatment processes are divided into three types: galvanizing, passivation and polishing. Galvanizing process is mainly used for carbon steel hose clamps, which can improve the basic rust resistance, but the corrosion resistance is limited; passivation process is used for stainless steel hose clamps, which forms a protective film on the surface of the steel strip through chemical treatment, greatly improving corrosion resistance and rust resistance, and is the core surface treatment process for stainless steel hose clamps; polishing process is used for scenarios with requirements on appearance, and can further improve the surface smoothness to avoid scratching the pipe wall. The third core process: worm and tooth processing, which is the key to determining the locking performance of the hose clamp. The worm needs to go through precision turning processing to ensure clear threads, smooth transmission, no slipping or jamming; the teeth are formed by CNC stamping, with uniform pitch and standard depth, and accurately engage with the worm to ensure uniform locking force and not easy to loosen. Inferior hose clamps often omit the worm precision turning process, with vague threads and uneven tooth depth, which are prone to slipping and loose locking. The worm and tooth processing of our hose clamps have undergone multiple tests to ensure smooth transmission and strong locking, even if there is long-term vibration, it will not loosen.
